The quality of Kugler Bimetal parts is guaranteed by stringent and regular testing :
OF THE BRONZE/STEEL INTERFACE
The perfect quality of the bond is tested 100% by ultrasonic testing for all verifiable surfaces, thus giving the customer an optimum guarantee. If desired, parts can be tested to destruction : compression, bending, tensile and cohesion tests are available.
Independently of the production laboratory, tribological tests are regularly carried out to ascertain the parts’ behaviour under well-defined conditions. This enables us to assist customers in the choice of Tokat alloy and to offer advice on their specific problems.
